Bellwether Election?

Alright folks, this is just too rich to pass up. The democrats lose an election in Ohio and try to spin it to their constituents as though it was some sort of win for them. Now it is official, the dems have lost their mind. Really? A win? Come on now, they lost again, something by the way, they are getting very good at; and now they want their sheep to believe this is a good thing? The man they ran ran as a REPUBLICAN. Not as a tax-and-spend liberal. This would only be a bellwether election if he told people in Ohio that he opposed the war, was for higher taxes and for increased size in government. But he didn't. He tried the same thing that John Kerry did which was to run a campaign on his war record. I can't believe that not one democrat has figured out that nobody wins elections based on past war records.

But I digress, I hope they stay as stupid as they have been for the last 5 years. I would like the democrats to be honest with themselves and their voters. You win elections on values and core beliefs. The democrats know that their core values will win them nothing so they feel the need to disguise themselves as conservatives or even worse, moderates. But the fact remains that they will stop at nothing for power. When was the last time you heard someone say, "You know what? We need more abortions in this country!!!" or "You know what? I would like to pay more taxes for services I will probably never take part in!!!" It doesn't happen!!! But the dems know this too and that is why they cloak themselves in moderation. There is nothing moderate about democrats these days. Keep that in mind in '08!!!
